Are you ready for the most intense space battle of your life?

Please Before...

Let me share with you the story of how this game was made. Thank you in advance for your time! :)

As soon as I saw the announcement, I was thrilled because this theme is exactly my thing, and I love creating in this genre. My brainstorming started immediately. A huge thanks to the organizers for this fantastic opportunity! Ever since I saw the announcement, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it for a single moment. I truly hope the results will show, and you’ll enjoy the game!

I am a hobbyist game developer. I have loved this world since childhood, but in my everyday life, I work as a driver so that I don’t spend my entire life in front of a computer. Managing my free time to work on this project while having a job was no small feat. I could only start developing the game in the middle of the month, and there were moments when I almost gave up (NO, NEVER!). But, thanks to the Creator, I managed to hand over my job to a dear friend for a week, allowing me to fully dedicate myself to the JAM. Right now, the core structure of the game is ready, but I have yet to design a single boss. I’ll have about 3-4 days for that (since I’m writing this on the afternoon of the 29th). If you’ve seen Back to the Future, you know the quote: "Why do we always have to leave everything to the last minute?" That’s exactly how I feel right now. Welcome to my life! :P

Although I didn’t use AI for game development (as per the rules), I did use it for brainstorming and inspiration. It would have been nice to save time this way, but to comply with the requirements, I drew everything myself. 90% of the graphics in the game are entirely my own work, including the elements you see on this page, like the cover image.

I needed audio that perfectly fits the game’s dynamic style. Who else could I think of first but my best bro Daniel, whose days have never gone by without FL Studio being open for years now? He primarily helped me structure my envisioned compositions. Additionally, I used my own assets primarily. Another thing came to mind—previously, we organized a Cyberpunk-themed audio bundle featuring Intersonic, Magory, Jake-Bradford Sharp, and Stormwave audio. Their work provided an excellent foundation, and I highly recommend checking out their pages here on itch.io! If anyone wants to organize another bundle, let me know, I'm in! :)

Money has never been my main motivation. While I appreciate the prize money for this competition and acknowledge it as extra motivation, what truly matters to me is TIME.  An IMPORTANT INFO about time:

I worked on the game alone alongside my job, for about half of the month, so I didn't have enough time to properly finish it or dedicate time to testing. :( As a result, there may be bugs or missing features. Thank you for your understanding—I appreciate any feedback, though unfortunately, I won’t have time to address it. Hopefully, you won’t find any major issues. :)

I originally envisioned the game to be much more ambitious, with far more creative mechanics, but this is what I could fit into the available time. I had to wrap it up as it is—for example, my goal was to include 25 unique enemies, each with their own spinning mechanics, but perhaps one day in the future, I’ll get the chance to bring that vision to life.

I hope you will enjoy the game! Whether you love it or not, don’t hesitate to flood the comment section! :P

I know this whole thing is one big TL;DR, and maybe no one reads anymore in this world, but if someone does, thank you so much for reading!
